The Scapegoat – How to Find the Truth Beyond Political Affiliations
If we do not stand for something, we will fall for anything. We have answers. We need to respectfully engage with one another, as it stimulates awareness, growth, change, and maturity. We need to talk to each other and not at each other.
“Janice Ponds brings relevant light to dry and difficult corners. Her book, The Scapegoat, asks tough questions and offers promising solutions to our struggling world.” – Evangelist Dr. Alveda C. King, Fox News Contributor and Executive Director of civilrightsfortheunborn.org
“God has placed on my heart to openly address, discuss, inform, educate, empower, and encourage others as it relates to social, political, and spiritual issues affecting us as Americans. It’s part of my call, and I fully embrace it. I love America dearly. I love my fellow Americans; and I have something to say to the nation.” – Janice Ponds, from the introduction
Stealing the Minds of America
“I was ignorant and proud; simply because I just didn’t know better,” states author Janice L. Ponds in her compelling book, Stealing the Minds of America: A Must for All Truth Seekers Who Vote. Janice’s journey is a captivating account of historical facts from the 1800s to the present.
Like many present day African Americans, Ponds was raised in a family that taught her two important truths: to always read your Bible and to always vote a straight Democratic ticket. A descendent of Henrietta Phelps Jeffries, Janice’s great-grandmother had been born into slavery in North Carolina. Because of this, the fact that African Americans could vote was a precious gift that had been instilled in Janice from an early age.
It wasn’t until she was an adult in her mid-thirties that she began to educate herself on the platforms of the political parties and came to the self realization that she had been “ignorant and proud.” Ignorant of what the political party platforms truly embraced and too proud to listen when anyone attempted to challenge her preconceived ideas and bitter resentment of what had been done to her people in the past.
This compelling book reveals hard-hitting issues facing Americans since the 1800s and still existing today–issues which have been spearheaded by a well-organized political agenda. Stealing the Minds of America: A Must for All Truth Seekers Who Vote, challenges all to think for themselves and look at historical facts which could affect present day existence.
